The purpose of executive coaching is to utilize information obtained during the executive assessment process to improve individual development and leadership effectiveness of the involved executives by developing methods to deal effectively with the issues and problems identified during the assessment process.
Prior to starting the coaching process, we prepare and submit a proposal letter to define the scope of the executive coaching project including costs and timing. After approval of the proposal, we begin the coaching process by meeting with the involved individual to outline the issues and problems to be resolved and obtain the individual's support for the process.
The coaching process will consist of a number of individual meetings with a series of milestones to measure the progress of the coaching intervention. During each individual meeting, specific recommendations will be developed and implemented in agreement with the individual. Our primary role in these meetings is to ensure that proper focus is maintained and that the individual is held accountable for appropriate progress.
At the conclusion of the coaching project, we may meet jointly with the individual and his/her supervisor if all parties are in agreement on this step. During that meeting the involved executive will review all individual development and leadership effectiveness issues that have been resolved. At this point the management team and/or the involved executive may wish to identify additional development goals for ongoing career advancement.
Our executive coaching involvement will continue until all development objectives are achieved.
